Remains of slit trenches and fox holes are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (1-2) and Lidar imagery (3) of Wareham Forest. They are considered likely to be associated with a modern military training area. These features are now obscured by modern plantation. They were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
