Summary
A group of trackways and slit trenches and a possible building foundation are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the south-west of Seven Barrows Farm, Wareham Town. They are considered likely to be remains of a First or Second World War military training area. This area has since been levelled by modern quarrying.

A group of trackways and slit trenches and a possible building foundation are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the south-west of Seven Barrows Farm, Wareham Town (1-2). They are considered likely to be remains of a First or Second World War military training area. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery, having since been levelled by modern quarrying.
