A post medieval brick yard and various phases of sand, gravel and clay extraction are recorded on the 1st and 2nd Editon OS Maps (1-2). Remains of this site are visible as structures and earthworks on aerial photographs of Sandford Bridge, Wareham Town (3). These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
