A group of trackways, which may be post medieval or early modern in date, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1945 in Herston, Swanage. The trackways are oriented north west-south east and south west-north east and are formed of linear ditches. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 230 m by 215 m. The trackways may have been associated with post medieval Quarrying activity in the area to the south of Swanage. (1) This area has now been built over. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
