A probable medieval or post medieval trackway is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 to the south east of Godlingston Manor, New Swanage.

Full Description
Centred SZ 015780, is a wide, deep ditch with a bank to the east, the whole of which runs north-south. A small domestic drain runs into the ditch at its northern extremity. In the south the earthwork fades and no other similar feature could be found in the immediate vicinity. See section profile. <1>
A probable medieval or post medieval trackway is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 <2> to the south east of Godlingston Manor, New Swanage. The trackway is formed of an north west-south east oriented linear ditch, which measures approximately 350 m in length. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
