Full Description
A medieval or post medieval field boundary is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 to the north of Ulwell, Swanage. The boundary is visible as a linear bank, oriented north west-south east, and measuring approximately 300 m in length. (1) The boundary is not on the same alignment as the current field system so presumably predates it. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
