Full Description
An area of possible medieval or post medieval field banks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 2008 on Godlingston Hill. The earthworks consist of four parallel linear banks, oriented north-south, with a fifth bank lying perpendicular to the south of the other four. The banks form three conjoined enclosures and measure up to approximately 60 m in length. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
