A possible Second World War bomb crater is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 on Godlingston Heath. The crater measures 7 m in diameter and is surrounded by a bank of spoil. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
