Four probable Second World War bomb craters and one possible crater are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1946 on Studland Heath. The craters measure between 3 m and 8 m in diameter and three are surrounded by banks of spoil. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
