An extensive area of trackways, which may be post medieval or early modern in date, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1946 on Godlingston Heath and Newton Heath, Studland. The braided trackways are formed of linear ditches and are predominantly oriented north-south and east-west. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 1470 m by 990 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
