An extensive area of trackways, which may be post medieval or early modern in date, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1946 on Godlingston Heath and Studland Heath, Studland. The braided trackways are formed of linear ditches and are predominantly oriented north-south, north west-south east and south west-north east. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 1570 m by 1000 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
