Full Description
A series of parallel lynchets are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar running along the south-facing slopes to the north of Encombe House (1-3). The features are considered likely to be of medieval or later date. The features are much levelled by ploughing and were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
