A circular hollow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (1-2) and Lidar imagery (3) of the southern part of Upton Heath. It is considered likely to be the remains of a Second World War bomb crater. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
