A linear ditch is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of a field to the south of Northmead Copse (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a post medieval drainage ditch or trackway. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery.
