A 19th and 20th century narrow gauge railway serving the clay workings on Creech Heath and East Creech. Earthworks relating to a disused branch of the main railway are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1945 (1). Sections of the original course of the railway are fossilised in modern roads and trackways, features not already mapped as such on the OS Mastermap were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck NMP.
