An area of possible medieval or post medieval wood banks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1947 within Moreton Plantation, Affpuddle. The earthworks consist of curvilinear banks and ditches visible over an area measuring 680 m by 500 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
