Full Description

A possible post medieval wood bank enclosure, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1947 on Throop Heath, Affpuddle. The enclosure is sub-oval in shape and formed of a continuous bank. A curvilinear section of bank and ditch is located parallel to the north eastern corner of the enclosure. The enclosure measures approximately 220 m by 100 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
