Bank and ditched features are visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs to the east of Blackmanston, Steeple. They are considered to be medieval or later drainage ditches and field boundaries.(1-3). They are still visible on the latest Google Earth imagery and were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck NMP.
