A rectilinear hollow, 20m across, is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Whiteway Farm, Church Knowle. It is considered to be a post medieval or early 20th century extractive pit or pond. The feature is no longer visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery. The feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck NMP.
