Full Description
Site of a possible Bronze Age bowl barrow, part of a larger linear barrow cemetery extending along the Dorset Ridgeway.
A bowl barrow on the edge of short drop to East. Diameter 22 ft, hut 3 1/2 ft. {1-2}.
Later field investigations record it as having a diameter 22.0m., with a height of 0.1m. to 0.9m. {3}.
Also visible as an earthwork mound on aerial photographs {4}, measuring approximately 7.7 metres in diameter. This site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
