Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
A burial excavated by AC archaeology during evaluation of a proposed development site in 2004. This feature consisted of a shallow grave cut aligned north west-south east containing the remains of the skeleton of an adult male. The grave contained two coffin nails but no other dating evidence, and the excavators interpreted it as being of probable Romano-British date.
