Site of a possible Bronze Age bowl barrow. Recorded by field investigators as an extant mound. Also visible as a low earthwork on aerial photographs.

Full Description
Site of a possible Bronze Age bowl barrow, part of a larger linear barrow cemetery extending along the Dorset Ridgeway.
Ditched bowl barrow, 36ft. in diameter and 2ft. high, with a ditch 10ft. wide and 1ft. deep. Flat, slightly hollowed top {1-2}.
Later field investigations record it as having a diameter of 12.0m., height 1.0m and no visible ditch. {3}
Also visible as a low earthwork on aerial photographs {4-5}, measuring approximately 8 metres in diameter. This site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
