Five Second World War bomb craters are visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1945 and lidar imagery, on Throop Heath, Affpuddle. The craters are sub-circular in shape and measure between 5 m and 16 m in diameter. (1-2) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
