Summary
A group of linear banks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of New Mills Heath, Corfe Castle. It is considered probable they are additional field boundaries associated with a late prehistoric or early medieval settlement and field system located just to the west (MDO7505).

A group of linear banks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of New Mills Heath, Corfe Castle (1). It is considered probable they are additional field boundaries associated with a late prehistoric or early medieval settlement and field system located just to the west (MDO7505). These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
