A group of linear ridges and furrows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of New Mills Heath, Corfe Castle taken in 1946 (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of post medieval cultivation marks. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
