Several groups of parallel linear ditches are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs (1) and Lidar imagery (2), located along the banks of Corfe River, Corfe Castle. They are considered likely to be the remains of post medieval drainage ditches. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
