A pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Rempstone, Corfe Castle (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a post medieval extractive pit. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery.
