Summary
A circular mound is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Nine Barrows Down, Corfe Castle. It is located just to the east of a large group of Bronze Age round barrows (MDO7427-7442) and a Neolithic long barrow (MDO7407) and it is possible this could be the site of an additional round barrow.

Full Description
A circular mound, approximately 10m in diameter, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Nine Barrows Down, Corfe Castle (1). It is located just to the east of a large group of Bronze Age round barrows (MDO7427-7442) and a Neolithic long barrow (MDO7407) and it is possible this could be the site of an additional round barrow. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck mapping project.
