Full Description

An area of allotment gardens are marked here on the Third Edition OS Map (1). These early modern allotments are still visible on aerial photographs of Corfe Castle village taken between 1946 and 1970 (2-3). They were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck mapping project. The most recent Google Earth imagery shows this area now being under pasture.
