An area of allotment gardens are marked here on the Third Edition OS Map (1). These early modern allotments are still visible on aerial photographs of Corfe Castle village taken in 1945 (2). They were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck mapping project. This area has since been built over by modern development.
