Listed Building record MDO31631 - Tudor Cottage, 167 Wakeham, Easton, Portland
Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
A house built in the late seventeenth century, possibly earlier, part of a row of houses. The building has walls of stone rubble with some squared stone block, and a cement tile roof. It is thought that it may originally have been set out on a two-room cross-passage plan, but the interior layout has been obscured by later alterations. Even so, surviving internal features include a bread oven, plank and muntin panelling, and roof beams.
