Summary

Gatehouse to H M Young Offenders’ Institution, no longer used as an entry. The building has walls of rough and squared coursed stone with ashlar dressings. Above the arched entrance way is carved the royal coat of arms with the date 1848. A pillar box is set inside the archway.
