Summary
An inn formed from three houses, said to have been built for William Butts, the parish clerk. A stone above the main door is inscribed āB W*Gā and ā1765ā. The building was altered in the nineteenth century. The building has walls of stone rubble and a slate roof. It may incorporate parts of an earlier building.
