Small spoil heaps and buildings associated with the clay workings at West Creech are visible as earthworks and extant structures on aerial photographs taken in 1945-6 at the west end of the 19th century tramway from West Creech to Ridge serving the clay workings and described in MDO13753. (1-3). The features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are no longer visible being partially under modern scrub on the latest Google Earth images.
