Full Description

The probable site of a military installation (comprising a central structure surrounded by a protective barbed wire oval enclosure) is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1945-6 to the west of North Egliston (1-2). The features are not visible on recent Google Earth imagery; they were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
