An extractive pit which may be later post medieval to modern in date is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery to the north east of Warmwell. The quarry is located on silty clay. It measures approximately 50 m by 44 m. (1) This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
