Full Description
A Second World War slit trench is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s at the southern edge of RAF Warmwell. The earthworks consist of a short zig-zag trench with a bank of spoil around it. (1) The site has now been destroyed by Warmwell Quarry. (2) This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
