A wide hollow is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Old Barn Down. It runs towards the post medieval chalk pit described in MDO31905 and is possibly a hollow way associated with it.

A wide hollow is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Old Barn Down (1). It runs towards the post medieval chalk pit described in MDO31905 and is possibly a hollow way associated with it. The feature is visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on recent Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
