Full Description

A brickworks is marked at this location on the OS 1st Edition map. Associated buildings and a large extractive pit are visible as earthworks and extant structures on aerial photographs taken in 1945.(1). The buildings have since been demolished but the clay pit is still extant on recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
