Four post medieval chalk pits are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs to the north of Vine's Down Buildings (1-2). The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. All but one have been levelled and are no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery..
