Two rounded hollows are visible as a low earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the southeast of Claypits Farm. They are considered likely to be the sites of a post medieval extractive pits.

Two rounded hollows are visible as a low earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the southeast of Claypits Farm. They are considered likely to be the sites of a post medieval extractive pits. The site has since been plough-levelled and they are no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery. They were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
