Post medieval drains or land improvement works are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on Outer Heath to the south of Warmwell Quarry. The earthworks consist of parallel linear ditches oriented north west-south east, with occasional ditches lying perpendicular to them. The drains are visible over an area measuring approximately 575 m by 185 m. (1-2) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
