Full Description
Post medieval drains or land improvement works are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs on Galton Heath to the south west of Tadnoll Barrow. The features consist of narrow linear ditches visible in four areas. The ditches are predominantly oriented north-south and east-west. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 750 m by 510 m. (1-4) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
