Post medieval drains or land improvement works are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery at Old Knowle on the parish boundary between Crossways and Winfrith Newburgh. The features consist of groups of parallel linear ditches oriented south west-north east and north west-south east. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 525m by 240 m. <1> This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
