Summary
A mound interpreted as a possible bowl barrow. In 1970 this monument was reported as being 21 metres in diameter, almost flat and covered in fir trees. Visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs {1}. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

Full Description
Four barrows in a west north west-east south east line above the 400 ft contour. All have been ploughed. 'D' Bowl (?) (SY 66138716) 65 yards east south east of 'C'. Almost flat. Fir covered. <1> <3>
'D' SY 66138716. Bowl barrow in fir thicket. Diameter 16.0m, height 0.4m. No visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <4>
Visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs <6>. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
