Post medieval trackways or field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s in the area now covered by Warmwell Quarry, Crossways. The earthworks consist of five parallel linear ditches measuring up to 145 m in length. (1) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
