                A U-shaped enclosure, which may be the remains of a Neolithic long barrow, or of later prehistoric date, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of 1995 to the north east of Watercombe, Owermoigne..  The enclosure measures 40 m by 25 m.  (1-2)  This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
