Two trackways or drains of possible post medieval date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the north east of Chaldon Herring. The features are formed of: a linear ditch oriented north west-south east and measuring 25 m in length; and a curvilinear ditch oriented approximately east-west and measuring 155 m in length. (1) The trackways or drains are not visible on aerial photographs of 2009. (2) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
