Full Description
                A post medieval chalk pit is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery to the south west of Kitchell's Coppice, Owermoigne.  The quarry pit is sub circular and measures approximately 60 m in diameter.  (1)  The pit is marked on the 1st edition OS map.  (2)  This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
