Site of a probable Bronze Age bowl barrow visible as a cropmarked mound on aerial photographs. It forms part of a wider group of round barrows running in an irregular east-west line on the crest of a ridge immediately south of the A35.

A probable bowl barrow visible as a cropmark on air photographs, part of a barrow cemetery. Ploughed flat. <1> <3>
'D' - (117) - SY 64449032. Bowl (?) barrow, ploughed flat but visible on air photograph. <3>
Barrows 'B', 'D' and 'E' ploughed out. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>
